Where can I purchase the Hydros Bottle?

Currently we are taking pre-orders of the Hydros Bottle. If you'd like to be the first to have the Hydros Bottle, we suggest you pre-order today. Eventually, Hydros Bottle will be also be available on store shelves, and we will be sure to let our users know when this happens.

How long does the Hydros filter last?

The Hydros filter should be replaced every 3 months.

What does the Hydros filter remove from tap water?

Hydros filters reduce the amount of chlorine (for taste and smell), copper, cadmium, mercury, and both dissolved and particulate lead in your water. Additionally, proprietary Inn-Lay™ technology reduces the amount of arsenic present. Click here to find out what'’s in your tap water.

Is the Hydros filter different than Brita® or Pur® pitcher filters?

The Hydros filter is carbon-based, similar to Brita® and Pur® pitcher filters. However, Hydros filters include the proprietary Inn-Lay™ technology to remove additional chemicals in your water. The Hydros filter reduces the amount of arsenic in your water. Neither Brita® nor Pur® pitcher filters can remove these chemicals.

Can I brand the Hydros bottle with my Company/Organization/Team logo?

Can I use the Hydros bottle to filter lake/stream/river water?

Hydros filters are intended to be only be used with municipally treated tap water or well water that is regularly tested to be microbiologically safe.

Are Hydros filter cartridges recyclable?

Yes. We are instating a recycling program to safely dispose of the chemicals caught in your Hydros filter. Please contact us at drink@hydrosbottle.com for more information.

How should I clean my Hydros bottle?

Hand wash the bottle and cap (with the filter removed) with a mild detergent. The bottle can also be placed in the dishwasher (top rack).

Will the IonArmour® anti-microbial effect wear off over time?

No. The IonArmour® anti-microbial effect is not added as a coating to the bottle. Instead, it is bonded to the molecules of the plastic bottle, ensuring that the protection lasts as long as the bottle.

How do you know when to change the Hydros cartridge?

You should plan to replace your Hydros filter every 3 months.

What is in the Hydros filter cartridge?

The Hydros filter cartridge contains activated carbon and Inn-Lay™ activated resin beads.

What is the shelf life of unused Hydros replacement filters?

Hydros filters have an indefinite shelf life and should be stored in a cool and dry place until they're ready to be used.

What kind of activated carbon is used in Hydros filters?

Hydros filters use the highest quality of coconut shell based activated carbon. Activated carbon made from coconut shell is considered superior to those obtained from other sources mainly because of its small macroporous structure which makes it better for removing taste and odor compounds from water.

Who tests the Hydros filter?

Hydros filters undergo rigorous internal testing to ensure that they meet the highest standards. Additionally, before being released Hydros filters will be certified by independent laboratories to meet ANSI standard 42 for Aesthetic Effects which govern point-of-use filters.
